Michael Ulbrich
Instructor
Michael has been a scuba diver since 1981, when a friend asked him to try it. His love for diving greatly increased after he moved to Minnesota and his wife and two children got certified in 2000. A few years later, Michael began leading scuba trips for the Byron Boy Scout Troop and Venture Crew on trips to the Florida Sea Base. In 2004, he became a divemaster for MDC Sports. In the winter of 2008, Michael completed his instructor training. Michael has dove all over the United States and Caribbean, with his most memorable dives being in Hawaii, Cozumel, and Lake Superior (Isle Royal and North Shore). He loves watching his students take their first breath underwater, as well as their reaction to seeing a coral reef for the first time.
