PADI Scuba Tune-Up

Are you a certified diver who hasn’t been in the water lately? Have you forgotten your pre-dive buddy check? Could you be anxious about your next dive trip? If you answer yes to these questions, then PADI Scuba Tune-Up is for you. MDC Sports’ Scuba Tune-Up provides a full review of your scuba knowledge and dive skills and help you improve your buoyancy skills and comfort in water, too.

Prerequisites:

Must be a certified diver 10 years or older.

Course:

Option 1: Book & DVD Study                     

Includes classroom and pool instruction, pool fee, use of scuba equipment, and PADI Scuba Tune-Up workbook. Price does not include use of mask, fins, snorkel, and wetsuit boots.  

Option 2: PADI eLearning

If you have a busy schedule, PADI eLearning is a great choice for you. This online course enables you to complete the knowledge (classroom) portion of the Scuba Tune-Up course at your own pace - anytime, anywhere. Purchase the eLearning course directly from PADI for $50. Once you complete your eLearning course, MDC Sports will work with you to complete the pool portion of the course.


What to Do:        

1. Sign up and pay at MDC Sports.

-Space is limited and not reserved until course is paid for.
-Fill out PADI Medical Statement and Certified Diver Experience Programs Liability Release
-Pick up PADI Scuba Tune-Up workbook
-Try on and reserve any rental scuba equipment needed. (Allow 1 hour)
-Consider an option $3 rental of the PADI Open Water Diver DVD.

2. Complete the PADI Scuba Tune-Up workbook.

3. Attend your class

-Attend all or as much of the two days as you desire.
-Bring you logook for the instructor to sign.

Under the guidance of our staff, try out new scuba equipment, prepare for your dive vacation and just have fun. It’s a splash party!

Prerequisites:

Must be a certified diver 12 years or older. (Divers 10 & 11 must have parent)


What to Do:

-Sign up and pay for pool session at MDC Sports.
-Fill out PADI Certified Diver Experience Programs Liability Release.
-Reserve scuba equipment.


Schedule:

Available during Scuba Review and Open Water weekends.
