SASY (Ages 5 and up) Snorkel in a new and exciting way! Now you can breathe from a scuba unit while floating safely on the surface. Normal snorkels can be hard to use, but our SASY unit lets you breathe continually while keeping your face in the water. Watch and play with divers below. Try SASY today while your family tries scuba! It's safe, easy, and fun!
Prerequisites: Must be 5 years of age or older. Course: Includes instruction and use of SASY equipment.
Once kids complete our SASY experience, you can rent MDC Sports’ SASY unit.
What to Do: 1. Sign up for class at MDC Sports. - Fill out PADI Supplied Air Snorkeling Liability Release.
2. Go to class! - Bring swimsuit and towel.
Schedule: Meet at MDC Sports at 3:00pm. Watch a short DVD and discuss equipment. Then travel to the Rec Center pool to try SASY in the shallow end of the pool.

Under the supervision of our trained staff, you will try scuba in the warm and safe confines of a swimming pool. Discover Scuba is simple, easy, and fun.
In addition to being really fun, PADI’s Discover Scuba program is a great way to get a head start on your PADI Open Water Diver certification. So what are you waiting for? Start you and your family diving today!
